Ira is a founding member of Misfits For Democracy, a progressive phone banking team that utilizes empathetic community building to advocate for justice and a better world. Between 2020 and 2022, Misfits launched campaigns for 9 different political candidates while partnering with All Hands Brigade, PA Stands Up, Sunrise, Democratic Socialists Of America, Korean American Democratic Committee, and many other grassroots organizations.
